Do I have to register to post an ad?

Yes. Only registered users can create and manage ads. Registration is free.

Are there any costs associated with publishing ads?

Yes. Publishing an ad has a fixed annual cost of €10.

Is payment one-off or recurring?

Payment is annual and is not automatically renewed. At the end of the period, you can choose to renew the ad.

Can I edit my ad after submitting it?

Yes. You can edit your ad data at any time via your user area.

Can I pause or remove my ad temporarily?

Yes. You can hide your ad whenever you want, without deleting it, and you can make it visible again later.

Does my ad need to be approved?

Yes. All ads are reviewed by the Portal do Alojamento team before they become visible on the portal.

Can I publish several ads?

Yes. You can create several ads, as long as each one corresponds to a different housing unit (room, apartment, etc.).

What kind of accommodation can I advertise?

You can advertise single rooms, apartments, studios, or houses, as long as they are for students, researchers and teachers.

Can I include images and location in the ad?

Yes. It is recommended to include photographs and the approximate location to make it easier for students to decide.

Is there a support contact if you need help?

Yes, you can contact the team responsible at gestao-portal@portalalojamentouniversitario.pt.

I'm a student/researcher/teacher looking for accommodation
Do I need to register to see the ads?

No. Consultation of the advertisements is public and does not require registration.

How do I contact the advertiser?

Each ad includes the contact details provided by the landlord, such as e-mail or telephone.

Does the portal mediate rental contracts?

No. The portal only provides contact between landlords and students, without intervening in the negotiation or formalization of the contract.

How can I report a suspicious ad?

Contact the team responsible at gestao-portal@portalalojamentouniversitario.pt with the link to the ad and the reason for the complaint.
